Pixie Lott today announced her first ever headline tour.
Pixie released her current single Turn It Up on Monday, and exclusively performed it on Britain’s Got Talent last week. What a year for Pixie - since the release of her first single ‘Mama Do’ in June 2009, she has received three Brit nominations, sold 2 million singles, two of which were number 1s, had three number 1 airplay hits, approaching 1million albums sold globally and is quickly approaching Double Platinum in the UK. Pixie Lott is certainly one of the most exciting acts to emerge in 2009 and this year looks set to be even better – she recently supported Rihanna on her huge UK tour, did her biggest TV performance to date on Britain’s Got Talent (viewed by over 10 million people), graced the covers of various magazines and filmed her first movie.
