Tyne and Wear Heritage open Days has been running since 2002 and the City Hall has been a part of it since 2007. Year on year the event has grown and it is bigger and better than ever before. Why not come along and explore our architecture, history and culture in the heart of the City of Newcastle and come and experience the City Hall's Harrison and Harrison organ and a glimpse of back stage.
We would appreciate it if you pre-booked your place on the City Hall tour so we can get an idea of numbers. You can pre-book by contacting the box office on 0191 2612606 or fill in the online form. Guests who arrive on the day will be admitted but it will be on a first come first serve basis.
The schedule of the tour will be as follows;
10.30 - 12.00 - Morning Tour
12.00 - 12.15 - break tea and coffee will be served in the Green Room
12.15 - 1.45 - Harrison and Harrison organ talk plus a recital
1.45 - 2.00 - Break and receive guests for afternoon tour
2.00 - 3.30 - Afternoon Tour
