One of the hottest musical acts of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Jason Isaacs is back in his home town to perform a one-night-only evening of Rat Pack classics. Hugely gifted and with a refreshing take on the old classics, Isaacs does swing with cheeky charisma and terrific presence. The show will include all your swing favourites from Come Fly With Me, Ain’t That A Kick in The Head and Mac the Knife through a burst of jazz sax and a sprinkling of classic Elvis tunes such as American Trilogy and Burnin’ Love. Backed by the dynamic Dave Connolly Big Band and the fabulous Fenner Sisters it’s the hottest swing show in town!
Tickets are priced at £22.55 (£20 students, £17.50 limited views) and now available from the box office on 0191 261 2606“The Ambassadors of Swing snag five stars instead of four for Jason Isaacs' sheer command of the audience. He has ladies literally dancing in the aisles…. Make room Edinburgh, here comes another star.”Edinburgh Festivals magazine «««««Read the full review herehttp://www.edfestmag.co.uk/fringe/music/1501-the-ambassadors-of-swing
and comments from the audience, Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2009
What a marvelous night! The band was exceptional and Jason Isaacs was amazing…. His showmanship was outstanding throughout and the quality of his voice would melt anyone's heart. It was the highlight of the Fringe!«««««Jason and the Big Band were truly first class - his marvellous voice with spot on timing really made you think that Sinatra, Darrin and Elvis were present in their hay days.

‘Jason Isaacs is the focal and vocal point, a seriously high-kicking, self-deprecatingly daft-dancing and notably big-voiced singer with loads of presence and a lot of lip …… A classy big-band show that packs a lot of value.’ The Glasgow Herald ««««
